CFL Grey Cup

In 2016, the Canadian Football League announced that the 105th Grey Cup game would be hosted in Ottawa, home of the reigning champions the Ottawa Redblacks. Soshal was named the partner for the design, content strategy, and development of the 105th Grey Cup website, which would have the goal of driving ticket pre-sales and creating general awareness and hype for the event.

Less than 5,000 tickets remain for the 2017 Grey Cup as of May 2017 (6 months in advance of the event).

Solution

Leveraging WordPress as the back-end content management system, Soshal's UX and visual design teams created an app-like look and feel for the site, recognizing that the majority of users would be visiting from a mobile or tablet device. An intuitive interface focused on sales conversion has produced exceptional results, so far.
